i have to say that I do not agree with you completely.
I met one guy (not through CS - friend of mine introduced us), he does not look so attractive, but he has charm, charisma, sense of humor, made me smile.....after a while he was the most attractive person in my eyes.
That was 7-8 years ago, but soon after it turned that he has viance and I was just a "last flirt" to him before he married.

Most of us want to be recognized by positive personality except those who dont have that but see why we people spend lot of years to find someone. who get quickly they again join the community of single n looking.
you need not glasses to see just keep working of brain and listening to your heart.
