I'm so pleased you get so many offers..you must be spoilt for choice.. I, on the other hand , get but a few a week..must feel so good to be that popular..oh well I'll have to look elsewhere.

Believe me, you are doing good in that department.thumbs up cheers

It's not a matter whether you believe or not All, but I am not playing hard to get. It's just that I'm in a very comfortable place of my life so why stir when there is so much peace and calm in being who I am.

perhaps now this thread needs to be closed..So meeting in the internet or in real life, don't really matter. You meet good ones on either and you meet bad ones, too. But whichever serve you best is what counts. I have met good ones on both places but I still consider the one I met on here is the best. Maybe because of the timing, too.

Thank you all for your sharing and participation.

CapNemo: I fully and strongly believe that the best way is to go out in the world and meet somebody in person. I personally am unable to experience chemistry on a computer. Body language, tone of voice, eyes, all that. I think it's a shame that nobody talks anymore, they text. No companies answer their phones, a machine does. At the store, you can check and pay for your groceries without someone at the counter. Give me the human factor anyday.

You are so right, if a text needs to be longer than one short line, call instead.

thumbs up

In my dating days a girlfriend and I would go to a bar. We would be asked to dance with the hope of meeting a guy. A lot of the time it turned out to be a good night of dancing. Talking to someone in person gave me a better idea what they were all about. I didn't have to guess his age as I do on CS. I could see if he really was tall or short. In a discussion with someone in person you may not know all the detail, especially if they are married, but you get a better idea if you want to plan a date with him/her. I doubt that women still go to bars but if they do it's probably more for a hookup for that night rather then looking for a relationship. In all my years of going to bars I never left with anybody but I did give out my phone number. If he called it was a surprise.

why close it? Although the greater CS may be about dating, this is a discussion forum. Were I here seeking a date/partner then I'd avoid this forum
