The children of Adam and Lillith of course. Lillith, who came before Eve, had been thrown out of (from her perspective she dumped Adam as a lazy bum) Eden (and she took their kids with her).
Though, the word of God doesn't say, I suspect that infant death or severe complications was a major issue in the earliest days and that first cousin relationships were common for hundreds of years.

We are not talking first cousins here, its at best half brother and sister. point is simple, there is no way you can populate the earth just 1 couple. And then you have Noah and his family, still not enough genetic diversity to populate the earth. I submit its all BS.
I don't think we need to take a different view of it, its wrong period. We also need to realize that you cant populate the world from one original couple, its impossible out question.

Adam... the FIRST man on earth, a lazy bum?! Surely not....

There does seem to be a lot of mysterious clues and unanswered questions about what happened tens of thousands of years ago. For me, as well as for others, seeing the moon, for example, with craters all over it: It had to be slammed with something and slammed continuously. Can only imagine what happened to the earth during that time also... To bring forward the word of God, for the sake of information: Genesis 1:28. And God blessed them (Adam & Eve), and said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth... Some believe, as I do, that the ice age happened in the earth before Adam & Eve and that Satan and his army of fallen angels were here before Adam & Eve also. There may, in fact, have been a population before the times of Adam & Eve, with Flintstone type people riding the backs of dinosaurs and there may have been a covenant with God before the old covenant and even several more before that. Who knows?... Now as a Christian, all that concerns me, is the biblical history as it is written, for this go around on earth, to have the knowledge of the old covenant as we know it to be and to have Jesus Christ as Savior in this new covenant.

.... and so it goes on....?!
Oh Hell, I bet so, lazy as a rock... Must have been a big shock to the system: To all of a sudden, have to work to live, but I suspect, what Adam & Eve missed the most, was being able to walk in the garden, with God.

well said. Never thought of it like that. Yes, I'd give anything to walk in the garden with god. Gee, I'd have a few questions if we had the time:-) but just the presence would be mind blowing
There's a contradiction here though Cuddling Soul. In the bible it says no man can see god without being killed by the glory of his presence so how do we reconcile that little problem? Anyone got that solution?

and dumber than a box of rocks...
not until eating the forbidden fruit did they even realize that they were NAKED...
and so it goes...mans hunger for "knowledge" continues...

I believe, the seeing of God's face causing physical death of humans, has always been... After their sin, Adam & Eve hid themselves from God when God was in the garden and this may have been the very last time that Adam & Eve had God's presence near them... In Exodus, it reads that Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu and seventy elders of Israel saw the God of Israel and ate and drank, leading me to believe that they were relaxed enough in the presence of God to, chill & chow (great name for a restaurant )... Anyway, Moses and Adam & Eve had the presence of God near them, in some realistic form, but not actually seeing the face of God... etc. I've seen someone's face on TV, but I haven't seen their face in person... More times than not, God shows himself as being everywhere in amazing ways, why ? Because he can. Might even be a bit of a show-off. A bush, A rod that turned into a snake and that snake ate other snakes. Five loaves, two fish, and feeds over 5,000 from it. Instant bread: Manna from heaven, everyday except the Sabbath. God's Son died and lived forever on the third day... There are other examples in the word of God, when people say that they have been 'face to face' with God, but figuratively speaking... Though, if I saw fire come down from heaven and consume an alter, as Elijah did, I would say that I have seen God 'face to face', while having to change my undies.
