change and go back to (Drachma ???).
But we going to immigrate to Ireland, 1/2 million of us,
to replace the the 1/2 million Irish immigrated from Ireland the last
7 years,as the result of the austerity of the EU,imposed to Ireland.

Cris, Greeks leaving Greece, you're giving up your country to anybody else eager to take over, they're just so delighted with that,,, kidding of course,,,

You might be right in your assumption about Tsipras end the Greek politicians, But a new wind, full of hope, for the poor masses, blows in some countries in Europe, because of Tsipras.-
Lolette: Pedro, you are right, and it seems the PM Tsipras is playing the nerves of the euro group in displaying a provocative attitude, smiling and so relaxed prime minister against the crisp & so serious members, hope he will not bring with him , the Greeks to his downfall. Whatever cards left for him to play, then let him play, the Greeks are the worst victim of their politicians caprice, quite far from the sufferings of the people.

Maybe Tsipras is a hero for other euro members, but not for his people,, and if ever Greece falls down, that's too bad, other's who had intiated reforms before Greece would be more in a possition to absorb the shock.

I don't know if Tsipras is a hero(for some Greeks he is) or not for the Greek people, but the Greek people voted for him and his party,to renegotiate with the EU better terms, than the ones before. And he does just that.
The future Historians they have a lot to write, about hiw tenure,
as Prime Minister of Greece.-

If the euro is terminated the only country to benefit their currency will be Germany, in my opinion. It will be a shame if Greece turns to Russia or China to sa e them from collapse.

The Euro €€ as a unified currency for the rest of €€€ members,
is beneficial for ONE country ONLY. Germany.-
If i was the PM of Greece, i will call the Russia and China, and give them for decades long contract, a couple of uninhabited Greek islands,
to establish ther military bases.-
Then you can see, those insisting on bankrupting Greece,
running shouting.""Please don 't do it.""" "" Forget about your
debt""" ""We forgot the debt of the Germans after 2 wars.
In 1934 and 1953""".

If he wants to be remembered, he needs an alternative plan and not only evasiveness.

Greeks need reactivation, isn't it?

Dunno who said this,,i think one of the ex pres. of USA ,,,

*** It is well enough that people do not understand the banking and monetary system, for it they did,, there would be a revolution,, not so sure if this was addressed to the americans, but it's more and more obvious in this case of Greece,,

Nidifugous: Greece was not strongarmed into the Euro. It was a political decision and the country borrowed too much money at low interest rates without having the ability to pay it back. They borrowed billions to build the olympic stadium which now serves no purpose. That's just one example sort of like Alaska's bridge to nowhere or the Mexican border wall where money was thrown out the window. Greece's politicians have a lot to answer for. So in order to divert public anger away from their own mismanagement of the money, they went and blamed the Germans. Everyone knows this. Even the most recent proposal by the new president shields their own rich. Everyone knows this as well, but it's just so much easier to blame someone else. It happens all the time.

I completely agree. The Germans and the IMF are convenient scapegoats aren't they? and easy targets. The Greek need to organize to repay. If their leadership did not understand the financial situation they were getting into, they should have. That is their responsibility. I'd check their pocket linings first, and possibly hold them personally responsible
