Ahmadinejad was voted out and the opposition was voted in. There's very good reasons why Iran has the policies it has, and the backing of their people. Although these policies aren't what Stringman talks about.

I think they lived a fairly private existence and had been married for quite some time before the attack. The King and Queen. As I recall they were in the old Life Magazine or something like that is the only way I had heard of them. But back then there was no internet news etc.In my best guesstimate, that 1978 attack on the American Embassy in Tehran was the benchmark in the start of all of the religious extremism getting out of hand over there. And part of that was opposition to the Monarchy of course. I don't think there was targeted opposition to the Queen per se, just to anything western.
