The media has been interrupting tv programming about this so called Winter Weather Advisory.

It was reported up to 1-2 inches of snow near the Cincy area all the way down into Kentucky. One to two inches is only a dusting.

I live in Northwest Ohio and nothing.What a joke.lol[/quote]

The blizzard is on the East Coast. You live in Northwest Ohio. That's not the East Coast.

The snow storm hasn't got its act together yet. It's starting now though.
Fox News is predicting the worst to happen overnight. Winds around 60 to 70 mph too.
Watch out for black ice with those kind of winds.
They're calling for flooding in the Atlantic too. laugh
Hope no one loses electric power!

Hi C wave I bought mee a little snow shovel today. My landlord insists that the tenants move their car when the plow is out there. The thing is, they don't clear a way for us to get to our cars. It's difficult for me to trudge through a foot of snow so I bought a shovel that will extend the handle. It's plastic and won't break ice nor will it be good in wet snow but it should work to clear a path just to get to my car so I can clean that white stuff off snowglobe Darn cold too.

My daughter lives on a North Carolina island. She won't get snow but they're calling for heavy rain. I'm hoping she doesn't get flooded sigh

Might be easier for you to throw salt down periodically to melt the stuff instead of shoveling.

I was going to post a picture of a person who tried the Bull Dung facial, but I think there is a rule against posting pictures of members of congress.

Those cities that are affected by huge volumes of snow and blizzard like conditions have the necessary equipment and its people are knowledgeable in weather preparedness...

For those who live around Vancouver...you would be surprised how many are not prepared for even a small amount of snow...lol...laugh

Glad I do not have to endure such cold weather anymore...and all that snow...

You are exactly correct LuLu. The state I live in knows how to handle snow and so do our residents. There are states that get occasional snow and can't handle it because it's not the way they normally live. I doubt their Home Depot even carries snow blowing machines.

Vancouver was shut down in 96 due to a huge snow dump...but I made lots of overtime...place of work was a few blocks away...no buses and no cars could make it in the snow...probably still had summer tires...lol...wine

You think the city would have learned...nope!!
