We might differ in politics but what I have come to know that fear makes people react differently...so that is why I fear Trump as a candidate...also his wish is to win...he cares not for people...he has no idea of tact...which is needed to communicate with other diplomats...and then there is experience and education...not just looking at his twitter account...just the facts...

Agree with both of you fine Canadian gals! Trump is indeed an extremely successful capitalist....and he speaks, often in a politically incorrect manner (geez,...I hate those words...he says what many think...is more like it), to the angst and frustration that many Americans feel,...but seriously, at the end of the day, as Canadians, all we can do is accept who they choose, and always, always remember....al lot of us know both anthems and mean it when we sing them!
Then again...we begin to try to establish and CHANGE matters with Russia....for there activities in the Ukraine are not to be accepted...but to be honest, I truly believe Canada has a greater ability to sway Russia than does the USA! (hell...I had to LEARN French, have a basic Germanic ability, but can roll with Russian, Ukrainian and Polish)...still working on Cantonese and Klingon

I tend to agree with you...Canada had its own reaction to Harper...too much doom and gloom views...and tried the fear mongering but lost...Trudeau is a reflection of our youth and our diversity...a voice of many thanks to him...funny how people react to change...
