Ocee102: I'm getting about 85mbs down tonight and it's about $80 a month.
I think the plan's rated at 75mbs but I usually get 85 to 99.
If you'd like to check that you're getting what your plan says you should be getting try speed test. It's free there's no sign up or any garbage to go through, I've used it for years with no problems.
Offered advice my Win7 configuration could be improved by 69% but gave the download a miss. However thats the speed of the Aust Telstra mobile phone board-ban network i connect to using a Wi-Fi dongle. I use a prepaid service purchasing AU$120 for 18 gig data (plus they chuck in stuff i don't use) the 18 gig is good for one year so i get to use what i pay for and no bill what so ever, when my data gets low i just purchase another block, 18gig usually lasts me around four months...
Trichoptera: My interweb is a series of tubes that my Commadore 64 has difficulty processing any quicker than a carrier pigeon! Price: 3 beaver pelts a month!

I buy 18 gig of internet data from telstra, its the board bane service mobile phones us, that i connect to using WiFi device. It is what we call pre-pay i purchase $120 worth internet data that is good for 360 days. Every time i go online i use some of the 18 gig data when it get low i buy one more block of data. No bills because i pay upfront for block of data (access) that reduces at $1.47 per MB or something

For my Mobile Phone I use ALDI prepaid $30 long life plan, the thirty dollar credit is also good for one year (365 days), when it gets low i just top it up and don't loose any unused credit so is really good, ALDI plan also connects to the Telstra service
since its been raining for days i remember'd seeing this thread, the info i'm about to share come's from my customer's from the highest levels to local levels of law enforcement whom were or still customers.
i use a rooted quad processor unlimited 20 G andriod phone with NO APP's as my soul internet connection being i'm out in the country. it runs my computer at high speed as well as videos if i so desire, at a measly cost of 55 dollars a month.
did you know that if you have 10 or more google apps on your phone you actually have over 110 google apps and scripts running in the background? Did you know that even if your are Not signed up on facebook there are scripts running unless you block them that can track you everywhere you go>same with the tweeterbird?
well with a rooted phone you can start blocking all these lucy;s and use that data for yourself... The downside? well no more banking from your phone as all the certificates can be turned off, No more Apps period as youve just turned you're phone into a dumb phone/computer router, saving all that data for yerself to run your computer,
and if you use script blocking and page scrubbers, eliminating anything google or yahoo, or any of the other mainstream browsers, you can free up so much data it will dazzle you.
