crayons: TPP is not wanted here in the states, it's only good for the corporate elites, plus it has internet restriction laws and and taxation written into it, this is whats been leaked to us so far, would guess its more like nafta on steroids. all you'll hear is a big giant suckin sound as more mom and pops are put out of business,
The local anti TPPA leftwing pinko blugger class have trouble getting their heads around the fact that Trump will flush the agreement down the toilet . Guess Trumpy scares the crap out of them on other matters .
lindsyjones: It is said John when people do get led on by other stupid people..
Would have been sad. My bad. But anyways, John have you watched the Megyn Kelly's interview with Trump? that was very interesting and very well done considering the escalation of bad publicity the media used against him regarding women. It turned out to be so civil and very mellow.

thelad2007: yea these tpp and ttip deals must go. its disturbing how corporations get away with this crap
Not wanted in Europe either, but the EU and the other state governments are in favour. Our government will support it for sure despite the opposition of the people, seems the govt. will even ban the referendum on it!

It was amusing listening to a degraded female Fox employee suck up to a man who is dedicated to degrading women !
Ccincy: it appears that integrity is important to you. wouldn't you sound a little more credible when you argue your point of view about politics if you were part of the process. at least you could argue with integrity if you voted. First a man here on CS tells me to Shut the f up.
Now you are telling me that just because I don't choose to vote or not is by the way my given right that my arguments would be more credible if I voted.
Since I've known for a very very very very long time that political figures obviously lie, cheat and steal to get voted in that I should just vote for them anyway and just sit back and hope they do the right thing. Purr not ever going to happen.
AS long as I live and breath on this earth I'll not allow anyone to ever silence me.
the right thing for you may be the wrong thing for your neighbor. with 300 million people in the united states, politicians can't make everybody happy all of the time. Ccincy, we arguably have the best system in the world, but it needs repair. i along with many others think that time is now.
our government is broken and our country divided but people are engaged like i have never seen them before. there is great passion for their candidate and what they stand for.
we are not going to dig ourselves out of this mess by blaming each other. regardless of how we arrived here, i think each of us has a patriotic duty to do our part.
we can analyze it all until we're blue in the face but it wont change a thing. the only shot we have is an attempt at taking our government back.
you said," AS long as I live and breath on this earth I'll not allow anyone to ever silence me".
purr4mance: politicians lie to gain office. they get away with it because they can and it is the electorate that accepts this. we the people don't want to be told the truth. when it comes to how messed up foreign policy is, or social security or the health care system, you name it, people want to be lied to. a politician who tells the truth will lose every time.
so i imagine it will come down to us the people to put an end to the lies once we decide we want to be told the truth and won't accept anything less. the only way to do this is to exercise our constitutional right to vote. if you decide that voting is a waste of time, surely others are going to vote and your opinion will mean nothing and go unheard.you said, "People want someone that they enter into a relationship with to be honest and faithful etc but they will support and a lying political figure".
here's the thing, you don't vote and don't want to vote, but yet you want to continue to voice your opinion as if you were involved in the process. number one, i don't think comparing a political figure is the same thing as choosing a partner. but, lets say i agree with you. i would want this partner to have something very important to me. that's integrity. and that leads me to number 2, you say you're fed up with the process because you live your life in an honest way and you know longer can be a part of the election process. it appears that integrity is important to you. wouldn't you sound a little more credible when you argue your point of view about politics if you were part of the process. at least you could argue with integrity if you voted.
Purr where does freedom of speech fall on your point?
Bill of rights states no inclusion as to who can express how and what they think no?

i hear your roar...
Nice arguments between the two of you I'll get back later. Meantime have a grand memorial weekend in honor of our heroes alive and or dead for their Valor and courage.
Ccincy: Purr I was posting my true feelings about the whole thing as I've done from the very first time I joined CS.i don't talk just to watch my fingers move so to speak.I've always said things on how I've observed them on or offline.
truheart1941: hi.....your country like mine..are ruled by corrupt people....what ever you/I say...doesent cut it......we are to small to be a super power......but people here should stand up for themselves and be counted.....for our country our rules and our religeon.....as it was...jmo.
The truth is that there is always corruption in every political body but it is still better than anarchy where there are no leaders, corrupt or not. Somalia is a good example of this. Having said that, there are people that can give more for the benefit of the masses and I am proud to say that my country is one of those that are in the up side in spite of all the evils politics play. Switzerland is most ideal in political system in my opinion but it is a very rich and small country. I believe for a country to be really corrupt is when the people are so poor.
Ccincy: tru If my late husband and I wouldn't allow our son to lie cheat or steal from people there's no way I'm voting for a political figure.
They all obviously are out for themselves making promises they never intended on keeping or obviously no one would vote for them.
Look at Obama he bragged throughout his whole campaign that he didn't vote for the two wars and promised to end them and bring all the troops home but he never did obviously.
I still believe that even though our political system is not perfect, it is still one of the best in the world.
Obama indeed lied very big on all his promises. Remember his acceptance speech in January of 2012 where he said all that and never did a single thing. Either he is controlled by the biggies in the political elite world like the 13 original families as claimed by Crayons and Mullins or that he simply doesn't live up to his words.
truheart1941: It..sad......to think of all thos people who haved died.....trying to save both our countries....(wars)...just to let corrupt people in office...give it away....its like mocking rememberance day.jmo,
Tru, just curious but whom are they giving it away to?

Congress cannot make a law that favors the establishment of one particular religion; that prohibits the free exercise of religion; or that restricts freedom of speech or of the press, or the right of the people to gather and engage in peaceful demonstrations and to petition the government for redress of their grievances.

Hi lindsy just goes to show that two people can have a civil conversation without a lot of senseless bickering.
lindsyjones: I can feel your disdain on the reparation or pay back, but I believe you should be thankful that we participated in and won the war. Don't you think?
The Russians won the war not the Americans And they didn't have to cowardly drop an A bomb

Absolutely CC. That is where we learn the most when we can present our opposing sides civilly and substantially. Good morning to you my dear lady.. And of course, a great memorial day for you. Just finishing trimming all the bushes. We have so much rain and the weeds and bush need to be maintained.
