Nope no questions on this, but what about chapter 12 of the Haynes Workshop manual of the internal combustion engine, now that really was an eye opener

galrads: Is that when RagnarLlothbrok became King and sheildmaden Lagertha ruled Norway.

No, that's long before Ragnar and Lagertha.

Japheth was Noah's firstborn son;

Genesis 10:21
Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

and when God made a covenant with Noah and his sons...

Genesis 9:1
And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

Japheth got a double portion over Shem and Ham...

Deuteronomy 21:16-17 Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn:
But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.

No black eyed peas; and you left out the Japheth? and the Gentiles?

The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

Genesis 10:2-5

This thread is about Gentiles, like the one Moses obeyed.

Exodus 18:1, 7, 24 When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt;
And Moses went out to meet his father in law, and did obeisance, and kissed him; and they asked each other of their welfare; and they came into the tent.
So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said.

And this thread is about Gentiles, like the Gentile Moses prayed to...

And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us instead of eyes.

mykingdomforanam: Nah, this thread is about God's chosen Gentiles, like the Gentile who Moses kissed and did obeisance to...

And Moses went out to meet his father in law, and did obeisance, and kissed him; and they asked each other of their welfare; and they came into the tent.

Exodus 18:7

This is about godly Gentiles, like the Gentile who told Moses to teach Israel laws...

Exodus 18:1, 7, 19-20 When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt;
And Moses went out to meet his father in law, and did obeisance, and kissed him; and they asked each other of their welfare; and they came into the tent.
Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God:
And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.

I know, when we watched The Ten Commandments, there was nothing about a Gentile telling Moses to do; and according to the movie that message came from God.

This thread is to set the record straight, and point out that, God did at the first visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for HIS name.

I've spent so much time studying God's visit to the Gentiles at the first, I haven't thought about your question enough to answer it off the top of my head; and I won't try answering it before I take time to study it.

The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.

I have a question: isn't God everywhere supposedly?

Then, how God could visit anyone?

If you believe God is everywhere...

How do you think it's possible that God can't visit anyone he wants to?

I like your question,

and add to it...

how come so many folks look outward and upward for something that is within?

It doesn't describe my belief at all.

Luke 17:20-21 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

I think the 'looking upwards' bit might have something to do with the beliefs that Heaven is up there while Hell is down below Therefore one would look upwards to God. 'Looking outward' might have something to do with the belief that God is everywhere.
