hi...S...........the smell that takes me backin time........is standing next to a steam engine..(train)....the smell of the oil/smoke,,,,.....reminds me ..ofstanding with my mum/dad....waiting for the train...at eastham station....when I was a toddler.....awww.woderful.

Geranium scent takes me to childhood with my Mother by my side.
Shoes polish smell reminds me of my Father because he had always his shoes shiny (always) and we had too as well.
