He might just be walking in the same direction as all politicians do but for right now, I trust his mission is to accomplish what makes my country great and the world.

VPN's are not illegal, neither is using one, However, the government has stopped local companies from running VPN's from within China. But all foreign owned VPN's are available and legal.
