America is doing about as well as Europe right now both supported by a global boom which nonetheless doesn't feel brilliant to the majority of us and with Trump's planned fiscal irresponsibility you'll be brought to your knees during the next global down turn.
Imo Trump's polluting the rivers and killing the squirrels etc just about offsets the damage he does to business through his twitter account. Cutting corners gets you ahead only so far as the rest of your unprofessionalism slows you down.

But it could be worse. Brexit will cost a fortune and we'll emerge from that, I predict, just as the next global down turn begins to bite. There are also people who in the name of British nationalism aim to sever the oldest trade links in British and modern economic history. No Deal would be smashing the oldest traditions in British life.
