I live in a lovely old house, with wooden floors, and some added modern areas. I have a large yard in the front and back, with adequate security measures.
I'm happy.
R u happy where u live or what would u like to have ?

Deedee123x: Would love a house in thr countryside not gar from either a wooded walkway area..or else a beach.
Thsts my dream. House doesnt have to be spectacular for me as you can make anywhere feel like home if u want.
Yes, u can make any house a home, if u want to.
I have lived on a farm, a street from the beach, etch. I am more happy now than ever before, as I have my kids with me and we're making it a home, as none want to ever move again, as we've lived everywhere.

Track16: A huge castle on top of the tallest hill with the view worth a million dollars.
That is for now, an impossible dream.
Wait till ur settled with a wife and kids, and ur requirements will become more realistic, if not be happy in ur castles with a hundred servants, and import the prettiest girls.
Mine is fine, S. Near the ocean, can walk to the beach, see my boat, etc. But it's just a cottage, not at all fancy, with some rental units for income, and a home office, that I built after the twins left for school. Much more than I probably deserve in life. But grateful, and aware of the concept of having enough. Aa-V..

Track16: lol I'll never have anything close to it, its more a fantasy. Can you imagine how much it would cost to run and maintain a castle?
More than what most can afford, and it will be clammy and cold too. Imagine all the wood and Cole required, and food. It will be a full time job, just to do the finances, else ur broke anyway.

Track16: In reality, there is not much I would "demand" to have aside from a large enough music room. The rest is negotiable.
Yes as long as ur happy. My study, where I work, is the smallest room in the house, but as long as the kids and animals r happy, I ask for nothing more, maybe a bit of re-hashing of it later, when I get more settled in it.

If u have worked hard, and achieved something, u deserve it.

I started living on the beach when I was 16: on the lifeguard towers.
For most of my life I lived within a block of the beach, all over America, Mexico, Canada, and Jamaica.
I really miss it...
Except for evacuating during the last two tsunamis, leaving everything except my dogs behind, and hearing all the dogs that got left behind howling in the darkness below me when the wave came in...
Now I live on an acre of rainforest with two cabins at 1500 feet, on a dirt road, where I often fall asleep watching the stars; and nobody ever woke me up.
I got priced up here by high rents in Hilo; but it was exactly what I needed! and I no longer have to leave home if there's an earthquake in the Pacific!
I can still see my boat in my yard everyday.
I don't go out as much... but I no longer have to go on the ocean to get the solitude I need, and could never get while living on the beach.
Just a place on a hillside, overlooking a huge lake. As long as it was peaceful and quiet, and had internet access, was warm in winter and cool in summer, I would be happy.
