Pick punch. All you need is an old credit card or any strip of plastic and it makes perfect picks.

Plectrum
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A plectrum is a small flat tool used to pluck or strum a stringed instrument. For hand-held instruments such as guitars and mandolins, the plectrum is often called a pick, and is a separate tool held in the player's hand. In harpsichords, the plectra are attached to the jack mechanism.

Do your picks slip around in your fingers?

That is the one bad thing about them, always having to readjust them.

It was when I first started using them but I just got used to it. I did discover a way to have a little grip on them, drill some small holes through where about you are haling it, it helps.

I read somewhere that surfboard wax helps so I tried it. It works but a bit messy. I've always had a problem keeping hold of the pick.

There used to be a product called gorilla snat, you put it on the top half of the pick and when it dries, you get a tacky surface that never lets go. I'm not sure if its still around or maybe under a different name.

In the meantime, try drilling some small holes through the upper part of the pick, it really helps.

If it works, it works. I have discovered all sorts of non conventional tricks with my guitars and gear. If you have a guitar with tremolo springs and you are hearing them through your pickups, string a rubber band through them, stops the noise.

Track - have a look at the Dunlop Max-Grip picks. I’m using them all the time now and no slip. They are available in your size 1.14
