Miwagi: Do you need 4x drive to get around Joburg these days? The roads must really be running down.
Just for if I need it.

Miwagi: Looks like it could blind you in summer.
Well, I'm NOT saying I have a preference for the color! But there AREN'T a LOT of these around! And locating pictures isn't the easiest thing in the world! And I WAS in a hurry!

By the way, I DIDN'T mention it, in telling what it was. But these babies top out around 350 kilometers per, and will outhandle anything that's NOT track prepared! They'll run ANY street Porsche or Ferrari into the ground! thumbs up grin cheers

Nah! Your Challenger just AIN'T my cuppa! But here's a tidbit for you! You could ACTUALLY BUILD a NEW one of these, today! The Shelby Cobra was ACTUALLY an English car! An A. C. Bristol "Ace". And Carroll Shelby imported a bunch of rolling chassis from from the A.C. factory, in England. Stuffed a hi-po Ford 289 engines in them, beefed up the suspension, and beat the pants off of EVERYTHING in his class, in the SCCA! Eventually, he built models with larger engines. But they were ALL based on the A.C. Bristol "Ace". Now, as far as I KNOW, A.C. NEVER built a coupe, like you see in the picture! The way THESE came into being, is that Carroll Shelby converted some of his "Ace" convertibles into coupes! Which ended up lighter and with better aerodynamics! So they were even faster than the regular Cobras! But there's a VERY LIMITED number of these cars!

BUT, when A.C. went out of business, somebody brought the body dies for the "Ace"! And you can actually BUY a brand new steel "Ace" body, today! A rolling chassis, too. You'd have to modify the body to the "coupe" configuration! But hey! You COULDN'T TOUCH one of the ORIGINAL one of these, today, for under 2 mil! And THAT'S if it was RATTY! And needed a bunch of restoration! So, IF you have the bucks to CONSIDER one of these, you could BUILD ONE, cheaper than you could BUY one! cheers

So step you fantasies UP a notch, M4! hug (Oh! For your info, this could beat ANY stock Challenger ever built, in the 1/4 mile! And on top end! PLUS, these handle better that Ferraris! Your Challenger would look like a Nash Metropolitan, up against one of these! thumbs up teddybear
