My ex wasted a lot of time drinking when the kids were young and now he’s trying to rectify his mistakes by spending quality time with them as much as he could. Trying to make up for lost time. It was actually Art’s idea that the kids join me when I go over to America, so that my kids can get better quality education. I said ok but I want the kids out of the house after some time so that Art and I can have quality time together!

What I've noticed is, that many posters seem to blame their exs for past failed relationships , when in fact , they may have been at least , partly to blame.
Not taking the blame is another reason why so many people have resigned themselves to the comfort of aloneness & unless they deal with their own imperfections , I doubt they can deal with their partners, remembering , no one is perfect !
