Arthur_Sixpence: I didn't move away from city living until 15 years ago, moving to the country, no sound pollution, absolutely no light pollution, only the sounds of nature around, took a good three months to adjust to... I still need a city fix now and again, just to ground myself...

I've had people only visit me once, for that very reason, others can't get over often enough... Country life is like marmite, you love it or you hate it.... When I lived in portsmouth, I remember having to eat my dinner in my car, because the nearest perking space would be a quarter of a mile away on match day/night, and the traffic wardens never slept...

Like big cities, I don't mind visiting, but like leaving too.
