You're comparing a gun to a cartridge used to start an antique tractor which not a farmer on this planet is probably using in this day and age. Sorry but that doesn't hold water. If they shot the tractor with a shotgun and it started I would be impressed. There is also a .22 cal cartridge which is used to drive nails which is a great tool I've actually used but again it's not a gun. So you're comparing apples and oranges.

Here's the problem with people who want to put the blame on guns. They think by removing guns you're taking away the main instrument of murder. But it's not the gun! The instrument of murder is the mind of the person who wants to take a life. i dont know about the usa but the leading cause of annual global deaths has been stokes and heart attacks combined. today the leading cause of deaths (murder) is 41 million abortions (ongoing each year.) There isn't any way to stop every person that intends to do harm. Many, no one would suspect until they do. The CDC has a break down for the leading causes of death. National and by state. They list the top 15 from because that's the last search I pulled for. It looks like it only goes to 2015 so far.
Suicide ranks but fire arms aren't listed in the national top 15.
I suspect you might find some states that rank fire arms in there some where. I've only looked at the national average so can't say for certain.
Health related seems to be the top perpetrator.

Who was talking about the "leading causes of death in the US" ?. These were natural causes of death and not violence related. Why not enlighten yourself and look up "Gun violence in the US". This tells the true story about the deplorable results of Americans love for guns. You'r so against guns but there's nothing to back the number of lives lost for some bad apples. Every thing to back up how much further south things can go in favor of many other crime hikes. It's not a major killer. Gun statistics by themselves is completely blown up and out of proportion as far as death rates and causes of death. That's how people get wrapped up in lies.
