InstincThis: unless you'd LIke To Believe- That new people. -- DOn't like "new people"
that's the whole point, isn't it- to get. "new people to come in"- but. when they don't. its just proof. that. they are someone, who already knows me.~~~ do the math huh? =
bodleing2: Right now that's hard to imagine, but you're right, the forums were a great place to meet and talk to many people from around the world. Lots of friendly banter, the occasional odd ball but a real feeling of community sprit. Many lifelong friendships were made on cs. I'm just so glad I was around back then and grateful for the many I met and many I'm still in touch with. But all things must come to an end.
But it certainly was fun back in the day.
I agree. I remember you from those days, you would remember me from those days but I went away for a while and changed my profile name and pic. No, I don't have more than one profile, btw.

i, too, remember. the forums were synergistic, and i can remember on several occasions laughing till i cried. nights when 20-30 folks were posting rapidly on a forum, while other forums discussed interesting subjects and views that showcased some brilliant minds and could go on for days. and while folks did not always agree, they agreed to hear each other out without disrespect.
It used to be like that years ago on DH, and before that on M2. Often times the forums moved so fast, it was tough to keep up. Now, DH is no longer, and M2 sucks donkey balls.

Yeah, it's too bad you registered for CS when it's almost at it's worst. There were so many people participated. Some topics were fun, educational, debatable, etc. People spent so much time, late nights just to keep up with the topics.
Good times back then on all forum sites, to be sure. It's all but impossible to find a site with forums anymore. Most sites don't have 'em anymore. I was lucky to be told about these, but these? Most times, I can read War And Peace between times of postings.
[ I can read War And Peace between times of postings.I finally read every pages of it. It took 10 days from 7 am till midnight except bathroom trips and meal time. So disappointed. It is definitely over-praised piece of work. Too many predictable coincidences with poorly structured plots. More like TV series 'Dallas'.
I guess the changes you want to see you have to make yourself....I mean isn't it us who posts on this site...if its crappy maybe we only have ourselves to blame......
