For an artist, it is an important relationship, but not necessarily a lover or a romantic one, but more of a spiritual connection.
I have myself been a few artists´ muse (painters, poets and novelists), and some have also inspired me to write about them.
One, who used to be on this site, was one of them, who wrote me some beautiful poetry and inspired me in many ways.
For him, I dedicate those words - which I hope he may read one day:
"I could have told you Vincent-------, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you!"

I was referring to the song about Vincent Van Gogh And I crossed the name because the one I dedicated it to his name is not Vincent.

Errr ok never heard the song and never liked any of McLeans music. Rock n Roll didn't die with Buddy Holly. Never liked his music either.

I had a block for some years on poetry and he yes he did a few fun ones, this sparked me off
