Strange how names keep popping up lately..
For example...I see a name on TV..which happens to be my son's name..
Another one...a friend I haven't contacted for some time..
And it goes on and on...

They all seem to be reminders that I must get in touch or...suddenly they appear from nowhere.uh oh

daniela777: Are you happy with your given name?

Or... do you prefer to be known by a nickname (William = Bill/Will..)?

Reportedly, your name is the stamp of your personal identity. The syllables hold a resonance of sound that is powerful to the ear, and also has meaning that defines you and carries its own energy.

You might wonder why on earth your parents chose that name?

Hmmm.. well... that´s another topic!

What about your profile name? What is your subconscious trying to project?

Does the name of your Avatar really reflect your TRUE self? Would you want to put it on a job application?

Would A Rose by any other name smell as sweet?
My profile pic was meant to mean playful, which I am.

I do like my real name, it isn't a popular name and my friends just call me the shorter version of the original.

It might mean you need to go buy yourself a lottery ticket applause

I love my names... One means "rebelliousness" and the other means "light"... So they both fit me perfectly... And my user name I picked for a facebook game because it contained some of the letters of my real name and I thought it was cute, like me... laugh lips

Hello Frisky..wave

As long as you're happy with your names...it's good.

But shortening a name is not so good as some syllables are missing and it doesn't resonate the same.

I have a Spanish friend whose name is Benjamin...which I find nice!..and I'm the only one who calls him like that!

All his friends have shortened it in many different ways as they're too lazy to say the whole name.grin

People shorten those names as they become adults..Benjamin is too childish for a man..Ben is for a man.

wave Hey lady.

Sounds logical. When my name is shortened, a few syllables are missing and makes it hard to figure out my real birth name is too.

I know...as I said in my post...names resonate with YOU and carry a certain energy and frequency.
From the moment it is altered
It doesn't match with you anymore.
