'I'm done trying to be man enough'

I did watch the whole video, and it was quite interesting...and so much truth to it.
Attracting Women is only a step in the right direction, Being a proper Man to receive them, and treat them is another.....You either pull them in or push them out...Same with people in general....Somewhat as a magnet, on side draws, one side rejects...and I do agree that a good man is well complimented by a good woman... teddybear

Good on you for watching all the way through!

So true about it being somewhat as a magnet!

The idea of 'good' man and 'good' woman makes me wonder...
As what is considered 'good' in one culture is considered 'bad' in another...

May be looking for balance within between the masculine qualities and the feminine qualities is the key? The man continues to be essentiallly masculine and the woman essentially feminine but with an emotional inner balance hug

I do think that cultural differences can definitely play a role...and I believe most can get through that if they really care for one another...

I totally agree,
I do also think that the( balance) of the masculine, and feminine quality is the biggest
thing that must be in place.. If it is not fairly (emotionally) balanced, it is like a big guy, and a small woman sitting on a seesaw.... stuck pointing laugh

Absolutely! applause bouquet

The applause is for your masculine side and the flowers for your feminine side laugh

Be sure to hold it pointing the right way else you'll be repelling instead of attracting wine

Men not expressing any emotion is a cultural thing to some extent. The nerd protestant countries are built around professionalism and commercial cheeriness, what passes for emotion is painted on which is very different to a man from Spain. Or Africa or Latin America. No, the nerd protestant countries are the most like the borg, a borg with a penchant for customer service.

For all the machismo of Latin America they still cry. All the earthier peoples of the world behave more like a Brit or American would do after 3 or 4 alcoholic beverages.

But then there's classical music. That's more emotional than first world man can be now, since the 1960s there would be very few who could understand classical music which is nothing to do with life being more manly. It's not.

It goes without saying that classical music is the most emotional thing man will ever do.

Which is why we can find nothing better than classical music to use on film and TV. We no longer produce a sound that would cover the rich tapestry of life for a reason. The arts were more creative, more soulful when the masculinity of the masses wasn't in question and I can't help but feel that heavy metal is trying to compensate for something. And to a lesser extent rap. The commercial cheeriness of effeminate consumer society has a type of passive rage beneath it.

The 1960s was that moment where new options met the old-fashioned ability to concentrate in a perfect union of choice and staying power which today has lead to a dangerous division between the man who uses long words and the man who can throw a punch. It should be the same man.

Like Popeye used to say............... " I am what I am."

I am not ashamed to admit that I cried when my Mom died, and even tho it has been 25 years since she passed away, my eyes still sometimes leak when I think of her.

Society tries to pigeon-hole us into different categories; and that just won't work because each person is their own individual. No one should live their life according to a perception of what is expected of them by others.

I have always pretty much done whatever I felt like doing, sometimes to the embarrassment of my younger Sister. On more than one occasion, she said " I don't know you " whenever I did some particularly crazy thing. Some of the things that I did do, are cause for dis-belief, but I had a lot of FUN doing it. My motto growing up was " don't say I won't do something, because I will do it just to make you a liar ."

But my picture has never been in the Post Office among those of " Most Wanted ", and most of the people who I went to High School still talk to me at our annual High School reunion. Little kids and puppies seem to like me, so I can't be too awful bad.

So, if I could offer a suggestion..........As you go thru life; show respect for Women, regardless of your personal opinion of the individual. Show respect for elders, even tho you are much more intelligent than they are. And treat everyone fairly...it would be a bummer to have your tombstone sledge-hammered by someone you screwed-over.

Life is short....live it to the fullest, but do it YOUR WAY.....and to hell with what others think.

innocent devil yay
