Generally they do save on their, unless the phone is set to only save onto the phone itself. See if you can link to the other phone via bluetooth.

Bring that to one of those good kiosk phone fixers and they'll sort it for you.
I did manage to do it for my friend, but it is much easier if I have the phone in my hand.
I am not very technically minded or trained, but I can usually sort mobile for some reason

HexagonKeySet: You mean the charger socket - sadly it's likely to be that the connections have worn out - that means a replacement motherboard and, when it happened to mine it was cheaper to replace the phone with a newer upgraded model than repair. HOPEFULLY all your essential data was saved to a SIM Card or memory card that will swap out to the new phone (or the phone's backed up online? or both )

My charger socket broke once too. But I didn't do anything like that.

I can't believe what we experiencing. I'm very concerned and my heart pours out to all the courageous and SELFLESS doctor's, nurses, first responders and everyone else who are risking their own lives to save others. I thank them all and I'm praying for them and the rest of the world.
