Melody..I laughed at those also...I have creative mind...I can talk about humour or talk about serious subjects...at the moment I am talking about freedoms and human rights...cause these thing matter to me and my disappointment of humanity living in fear...has made me talk about this subject...I can't just sit by and let people ruin my freedoms and take away my rights...by not doing or saying a thingEnjoy your evening

I totally understand... Those subjects also matter to me... Especially living in my country and since 1998... But I think (and maybe I am totally wrong) that being at home and at this precise moment in time, what most people may want is to destress... Again, I can only speak for myself... Enjoy your evening

I personally don't feel as if I am being controlled. I am in total control of myself and my thoughts but would certainly listen to advice with regards Covid 19 which I know absolutely nothing about except for the information that is out there.
Isn't it proving a point that isolation will aid in ridding us of this disease.? The death toll speaks for itself with regards how quickly it spreads
Yes it's proving difficult to instil social distancing ,but with today's modern technology we are not in total shut down. It's a question of balance and hopefully this will soon be a distant memory, though for many a painful one.

The real question is whether it is right to shorten young lives significantly to provide a slight extension for the old. At some point in the lockdown the measures become the societal equivalent of harvesting a kidney from your kid.
And here we get back to marriage. Traditionally you wouldn't expect much from adult life at all you would be grateful for any person willing to be with you and ready to die before putting on another. All for the good of tomorrow.

Instead of your own life you had the afterlife and a better life for your kids. But that better life for your kids is the reason for baby boomers and the newfound sense of irresponsiblity. We now live in a world where the elites talk of "self-partnership" and masses of "live for today". The ethos that was a better life for your kids only arises from world conditions that are really quite bad and in the modern world this would require a noble sacrifice. It's up to the individual to live downwards and onwards when money is common, where the temptation is greatest and the thought of what comes after you basically dead. In the old days children was all that they had and it showed.
