As you look at this through your eyes, your consciousness registers it. What is that? Mere electronics? And surely you aren't the only one, but it seems there might need to be a bigger one. The best theologians admit God didn't create the universe it just depends on him and that corresponds to Einsteins view that time is only a dimension. What is matter unobserved? Nothing. I feel that whether I know the person or not "their reaction" has more to do with them than with me … and my reaction to their reaction informs me of how vulnerable I am in the area they might have "poked" … I find I couldn't care less unless they "poke" somewhere that feels a bit fragile and then that's about me not them …
