People who are a threat to the wellbeing of other people need to be 'contained' so that they are no longer able to continue to tip the scale of 'dark V light' but in order for people who wish all living beings 'well' they need to consider not adding to 'the dense side of the scale' by refraining from commiting violence against the people who are being contained. And this is where 'the kindness' comes in...
In reality 'containing without violence' is a service to the whole of humanity
Containing without violence is actually against humanity and allows criminals to become even more violent. Dictators first remove all legal weapons from their country, use any tactic to cause disunity not allowing patriots to defend themselves, and finally squash freedom of speech releasing prisoners to be their enforcers and rig all elections. Pretty close to what the lefties are doing in California and the US and the corruption they are spreading with BLM and ANTIFA anarchists looting, burning cities, and murdering innocent people. Democrats have created the need to own a gun and why the Constitution was put into place long ago with amendments to secure defense against traitors and enemies of the state. Let's see how social workers perform against MS-13 gang members in LA once defunding police happens and if socialists and communists gain power.
