Psalm1611: haha. Thank you for sharing your thoughts everyone. My first week has been very positive, I haven't had any scammers as of yet in a money sense, but with some of the ladies writing me - I do notice some are very friendly during the day and write me often - but then disappear for the night until the next day. I do feel as if I'm dealing with some women who are married / significant other. I'm not passing judgement or with expectation, I'm simply trying to navigate without feeling badly about ignoring some responses because of red flags.
I wouldn’t look at it that way. Not everyone is super-glued to the computer, my friend, I’m not— in fact I’m away days at a time. And, people have a variety of things to do, not just be on CS...how about sleep, for instance?
haha. I love your name "Cranky_Geezer". And to the others who commwnted, thank you my friends. My first week on here has been very positive, in fact I wish I joined sooner during the pandemic. I don't think I will stay in the "dating" area of the site for very long, I willl be true to a relationship once I find myself in one - however the "Forums" area of this site is fantastic. And I thank all of you for making it so.
Psalm1611: Hi everyone - my name is Patrick, I'm new to the site. Today is my 7th day and I'm able to share a post now, I was curious as to your experiences on ConnectingSingles ? Or tips to look out for ? My first week on here has been very positive talking with new people, nice people. I've never been on a dating site and I figured I would give it a shot to see how it goes, I've never had trouble meeting women however as a Christian man I do find it difficult to meet women who aren't coming from the overly-aggressive world of Instagram where things move very quickly without much investment or friendship first. Which is fine for those who choose that, I'm in no way passing judgement - it's just not for me, I believe in building a friendship first.
Have any of you met your better half here ? Or had a negative experience ?
Wishing the best to all, thank you for reading -
Ahlan wa sahlan (welcome to our world), brother! Just stick here for a while, and you will find it out all by yourself when you see how each and everyone is commenting here on this forum. Anyway, talking about my experience, it has been very much mixed, to say the least, but good thing is, these experiences always allow me to "rediscover" myself in a new light. So, try to enjoy your "ride" (which can get "bumpy" at times) here as best as you can
Well I guess if its pulled fast enough, it be done before it hurt. Back in the day, you were given a shot of whiskey instead of a needle and it was usually done with a set of mechanic's pliers.

Dentistry was not as much fun as it is now one time. Surgery wasn't fun either back in the pre sedation days. Need a appendix cut out? You'll watch them do it

I have never went under the knife (yet). So far I been lucky. Apart from my mental health, I never had that many doctor/hospital visits in my life for other stuff.
