Anything is possible here hunn. Sorry. One month a year the rainbow flag is hanging, a whole month, out the top window of our local church here. Ok... Priest are openly gay, and one female bishop was gay as far as I could tell, but that was toned down some. Her speciale was to employ gay people., lesbians in particular I officially have no stance on it.... lol But they call it a 'folk' church and there seems to be a competition on how liberal one can be. THEN on top of that we have NRK our BBC, and there it's the same story. Hence such series produced. I have no TV myself but if I had I'd watch Baywatch instead.

Weirdly enough young children don't think of figures like Santa or even their school teachers as people with a gender who would have a "life outside of their role" and even less about their relationships ....
When I was a teacher I was going through some difficult personal "thing" and mentioned something in one of my classes with some 11 year olds. Many of them were so shocked ... they thanked me and told me up until that point they had never considered "the humanity" of their teachers and that they had homes with responsibilities and husbands/wives, children, problems etc...

It is really weird When I was working as a teacher, grades from 2 to 10. They always were asking about my family, dogs and a cat, even about garden. But then again, I was spending a lot of time with them, visiting museums, plein airs, planting flowers and trees in a school yard. I think it depends on educational standards and programs for different countries.
Still for Russian children St Nicholas or Grandfather Frost is a man. Not anymore for Norwegian Sad
I might have to move to Russia in the end. Hey don't rule that out... hehe, but italy/spain/greece is still more likely. I have a good friend in England too though, let's see where the ship sails.

I am totally not.
Actually Viking, after seeing such a disgrace of St. Nicholas, my first though was to offer you to move.
But then I decided ..it is your personal decision. If I had a chance I would move back to Russia tomorrow .

ChesneyChrist: Its a bit full-on although I always assumed that Santa was gay to be honest. How many straight men are there with that many toys?
It is logical point.
But Russian Grandfather Frost has a family. Three daughters: Snowstorm, Chill and Blizzard, and his Mother lives on the North Pole And he has a granddaughter. Keep in mind that we have genders in Russian language
We will never accept converting Grandfather Frost to be a gay.
