I mentioned this in another thread but did'nt get much response. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar healing effect from the virus.

I had my first (and only) jab in January. Since then i've been sufferring from really bad catarrh, ear and sinus infections continuously through the year. The doctor prescribed antibiotics whih did stop my sinuses from bleeding for a couple of weeks but that was all. I couldnt leave the house without a least one pack of tissues, my nose was running continuously.

Since i tested positive for covid last week all my respiriotory problems have cleared up, now my sore throat has gone i feel better thani have all year.
It seems ironic that a vaccine i had gave me long term the very symptoms i was taking the vaccine for and the illness i was trying to avoid cleared me of the very thing the vaccine was supposed to protect me from

dunno

Which vax did you have bodl? I have had three jabs of the Pfizer miracle vaccine and had no symptoms at all post injection. There are no major blood vessels in the deltoid muscle and i asked for the long needle.

Glad to hear you're feeling better....

Tis very strange alright that the vaccine would have such an effect on you and then when you do catch covid the symptons clear up..Hmm very interesting....Maybe your immune system fighting the vaccine boosted your T cells or is it white blood cells (that attack invaders) and it helped clear up the sniffles you had from the vaccine...I dunno...just a guess really, but there has to be a reason...

Bet you're glad I'm not a scientist....cos curious stuff like that always catches my interest so I'd have you on the slab by now doing investigations... *snaps on rubber gloves* " now Bodleign, this won't hurt, can you give me a little cough there good man"....laugh laugh laugh

Which vaccine did you have?

I'm a bit flummoxed by my own symptms and reactions to the disease and the AstraZeneca jabs, but it's complicated by an underlying health condition.

I'm a bit vague about it all in public because don't want my exploration to be used to bolster conspiracy theories given I don't know what's going on myself.

If I have any definte information, like the vaccines containing additives that are potential allergens, then I say.

Is it possible that you developed allergic rhinitis from the vaccine, but now your immune response has been focussed on the virus?

There is less chance of hospitalisation with the omicron variant compared to the dominant delta, according to the research carried out by imperial college .
Basically, this is the beginning of the end of the pandemic.
As with all pandemics , will eventually disappear .

If it was such a bad thing to catch a virus we wouldn't have 380 trillion of them. Glad you're on the mend.
