bodleing2: I've lost count of the number of times I've been searched. For me, especially in the 70's and even through to the 80's being seached by the police seemed to be just part of life.
Just wondering if this was a normal occurrence with any others on here.

I have been searched in my younger years. Wrong place wrong time. The best I have been searched was by a TSA agent last year Just wondering if this was a normal occurrence with any others on here.
she asked me if I wanted to have the search done in private (I am not shy and did not really know what to expect) I had it done right in the middle of the airport. She actually lifted my girls up and seperated them 
I can be a comedian at times the other woman flying with me stood there watching. When the search was done I said thank you. Looked over at my friend and she was cracking up laughing. I just made a sad face and said she didn't even buy me a drink. I have been lucky and never been searched flying. The minute they had us remove our shoes I knew I was a goner. Dressed to impress and then my Pippy Longstocking socks, stripes and all were bared for the world to see
