I don’t see why Americans have to wear big body armor to play a game of football that’s like rugby here but no one wears armor.

To me soccer and American football today are the new variants of the Old Roman bread and games policy.
It are tools to get the crowd under control and gives them a distraction from their emotions and stress and... also collects the money. Money that makes an elite few super rich and gives the masses the idea that they are also part of the event, the competition. It is just an illusion they sell!!professor

dont wear body armor. the padding thats worn dont exactly protect the players as much as ppl think it does. if anything it makes something like a shoulder tackle more effective than anything else.and rugby doesnt have the same level of physical contact that football does.

Looking for the point of something in such a pointless activity as sport seems very pointless.

ChesneyChrist: Is it more gay with the armour or without the armour? Difficult one to figure out really. All I know is that they're both a spack-friendly sport that allows you to pick up the ball because your society is an ungainly, disjointed office-working mod con type of spaz lord that relegates physical skill to zero.
And soccer is the opposite. A sport made out of prison dodgers and an art perfected in spite of having the poorest facilities. Soccer is the poor person's sport that can be played just about anywhere, it's something you're better at if you grew up the hard way like dancing far from the two left feet of sheltered homes.

Soccer is an everyman sport and football is more like dressage where you're gonna win because of the excellent facilities. It's sports for people who are not naturally good at sports but have been well-fed and facilitated.

Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) is more prevalent amongst boxers and American football players than rugby, or soccer players.

Whether the use of armour protects American football players because of a different level of contact, or whether the armour facilitates it, there appears to be different levels of repeated head injures and concussion in the games.

And you know your empire could have lasted twice as long with half the mess through a game of what the outside world calls football. What you've effectively done is picked up the ball and taken it home with you when everybody hated that kid. A behaviour too exceptional for what a superpower is, you can't just buy mates everywhere you have to have things in common.
