We had a neighbour in Leeds, who was "disabled" and living in a nice house and on benefits, he was nearly 7foot man, riding his Harley Davidson at night.
He had a ramp for a wheelchair installed even if he was able to run like hell. Strong like a bull.
One day he chased another neighbour with an axe in front of many people and in broad day light , the police said they can't do anything.
On Christmas eve he sliced our car tyres, all 4 of them.
Few months later he blew up our car.
And don't get me wrong, we lived in one of the best areas of Leeds and I was pregnant at the time. We were at the police station more often than at the surgery.
This man had a mile long criminal record but they literally said he needs to kill someone to be arrested.

Those laws scare the hell out of me. I hate everything about it. Already cases of doctors trying to push suicide on people who are mentally ill.
