Turns out somewhere in South Australia they have produced the tearless brown onion.
I saw demonstrations where people were rubbing their eyes and chewing on pieces of these brown onions.
Not a tear nor a sting to the eyes..These brown onions were said to taste sweet.
These tearless brown onions will be in my supermarket chain this week
I'm into red spanish onions except when I whack a few slits all over my boneless lamb..I then stuff those slits with some chopped brown onion fresh garlic & lamb herbs..No need for me to buy tearless onions
Who ever thought meat would be more expensive than fresh seafood..I'm a seafood gal but I have had a penchant for homemade chicken noodle soup soup accompanied with a Probiotic Cape Seed roll slathered with avocado
