Happygolucky4u: I know you might have mentioned it, but what kind of craft do you do? Or are you like me and have your hands in many. I have never done a show but have thought about it. Unless you count a craft show I entered a wooden doll in I made ( a contest). I was shocked I won third place. My husband was in an accident and I was not there for the announcements of the winners, one of my friends picked up my moola and certificate of winning. All I can say is Emma (my doll) looked just like she was ( a first try) so I can imagine what the others looked like

All I can say about the crafts I do, is I must have ADD…I am all over the place with crafts. This show will things I’ve sewn, drilled, burned, and glued. I will elaborate when I have more time. Mercedes_00: Yeah it's bad zero & minus one..I back in bed because as soon as I recovered last bout of something new to me I rushed back to work & the gym..I'm crazy for getting in a freezing cold pool at the gym with that weather so yeah I have learned my lesson I won't be rushing this recovery..Good thing is I haven't lost my appetite just feel tired now

I have never burned, been thinking about trying to do something with wood and burning it. Seen a piece (garden gate) done that way, it looked amazing! I won third place because people have a difficult time following instructions. The whole doll had to be made of wood. Hair, eyes etc. I seen pictures of the event and I could tell many did not follow that rule. 
I imagine they disqualified them. I entered a duck tape contest one time I was so proud of my entry, I made a wallet. Nothing fancy. And then people started walking in with their entries. It was jaw dropping. One lady made a skirt, checker board, table cloth, purse. I didn't come close to winning. I also have never looked at duck tape the same again. It was amazing. Do well at your show and enjoy

Happygolucky4u: Oh my goodness sounds like you have had a bout. I know it is difficult to take that extra time off and rest when we start feeling better. It is so needed anymore. I am like you I usually don't catch things. And I wish others when sick would stay home at the very least don't get on top of people and start hacking and germing the area up. Get well
Just thought I had the flu..When I get back out there next week I will be masking up as tomorrow is my first day of Winter..I asked the doctor how did I get this? He said from someone else..I said DUH me Having been reading a lot of books & watching animals mate on my many animal channels
