We are supposed to get some more snow, like we didn't get enough in February? We don't do snow! Right now it's a raging rainstorm and we've had warnings of flooding, I live right by the Sacramento River. This will be fun...NOT!

I'm watching footy tonight..Rugby League is the game..Have had people over non stop for weeks for a swim & barbie because the weather is nice & hot..Now the footy season has started I'm going to pretend I'm not home

Looking foward to tonights Friday night footy between two Qld teams I will be cheering on the Broncos
Speaking of Qld teams..I was in the pool having a conversation with 2 ladies who grew up in England but moved here for good..One accent is very posh & pretty..The other accent is rough as guts
I asked them why they have different accents there?..They said it's the same here in Australia..I said no it isnt..They said in Qld it is..I said what do you mean? ..They said here in N.s.w we speak fast &..Where as in Qld they have a slow drawl..I said are you saying here in N.s.w we're on the ball & In Qld they're slow & docile?
They both laughed & said definitely....My tummy ached from laughing

Here we have different dialects through out the regions. My son has lived in California for about twenty years and he said this year has been the second time he has seen snow since he has been there. I am in the more southern part of Florida and I have seen it in my area in my lifetime twice and both times it melted before hitting the ground. Stay warm and safe So what are you all up to tonight?
