Happygolucky4u: I ended up at my sisters, swimming in the pool. The weather was wonderful. Any day at this stage of the game is a good day spent with my sister. I am like you I love the outdoors. I wish I could call myself a mermaid Use to people would refer to me as a water baby. The other day someone called me a waterbug. I know they meant no harm, but a bug I am going to garden today more gorgeous weather. Enjoy your day!
Sounds like you had a wonderful day with your sister in the water..It's Autumn here my days are heatwaves it will be 35C tomorrow..It's crazy but I'm in love with stinking hot humid days 
People also refer to me as a waterbaby..Reason why I call myself a mermaid at the mo is because a few weeks ago I came across woman on Youtube who somehow slide into a mermaid tail..Good exercise so I do their moves minus the tail I sometimes use a couple of exercise bands around my legs or just keep my legs closed tight

Happygolucky4u: I have not went to bike week in Daytona in a few years. It is a crazy time. A big event with people from all over the states attending. I am more of a quiet person So I went for a nice long ride in an area they call the Loop. It was beautiful. If you are a partier it is the place to be. The beach in my area you can no longer drive on. You can in Daytona. I went to Orange beach. They have big buildings so close to the beach it was not natural. I must say the beach its self is gorgeous there.
Do you ride a motorbike or a push bike?..Many moons ago I would whizz around on a motor bikeI gather those big buildings are used for tourism?

KarloradoFL: I haven't been to Daytona or the beach in a several years. There are no late buses from Daytona (last bus leaves at 5 and at 4 on Saturdays) and none on Sundays and Holidays. If I see hundreds of motorcycles parked at a rally at the biker bar practically across the street from the local Super WalMart, I will take a picture of it.
Are there buses that are able to take you to a beach closer to home?

Mercedes_00: Are there buses that are able to take you to a beach closer to home?
I have to take 2 buses to get to the beach. One is a long bus ride that takes me to the mainland in Daytona then a short bus ride to the beach. Daytona Beach is the closest beach to me. I rode a bicycle to the nudist beach twice at Canaveral National Seashore, but it took me 6 hours each way at 40 miles away and is a dangerous ride. Florida has more bicycle and pedestrian deaths than any other state. I have been hit by a car walking several times here but was not hurt. A few of those times it was deliberate, and I was called names. I now have a smart phone with cameras, so they won't get away with doing that now.

That's bloody scary Karl I reside at Camden so for me to get to Wollongong beach by public transport I get on the bus at Camden which takes me to Campbelltown..I then get a Wollongong.bus which takes about an hour to the beach..If I want to go to a beach around Sydney I need to catch one bus & two trains..Doesn't bother me as I'm up early seven days a week..If I attend the beach with friends of course it's a short journey compared to public transport.

Drivers are so crazy in my area now I have not in quite some time. The big buidings appeared to be maybe hotels or living quaters. I prefer a more natural beach. ------ This thread has reached the limit ------
