Hardly ever happens, but I have to disagree with you. In a republic the leaders are chosen to lead according to their character. In a democracy the elected are busy polling their constituents. The problem with the latter is that finding out what the right decision is is a full-time job, which is what the elected should be doing. "Democracies" are always dictatorships. The best example of a democracy is a lynch mob (ruled by demagogues).

You need to do some homework with regards to the Royal Family.In terms of what they bring to the economy, the valuation consultancy group, Brand Finance, estimated that the monarchy helped boost the economy with a gross uplift of £1.76 billion in the year 2021/22.

So if your royalty is so precious boosting the economy there why not have a second silver spoon fed royal family? I miss what England used to be. Dame shame its culture will also be unrecognizable in the near future. No more great western literary works, comedy or music from England especially will be a great loss to the world. You moving the goal posts as the Monarchy have little or no say in the government of the U.K. The King is head of state and politically neutral.
