spungey: Trump is doomed and won't get much farther as proven over and over that he is not deserving of holding any political office. Colorado and Maine have already banned his name from being on the ballot. Several other States around 14 are more than likely headed in that direction. According to Section 3 of the 14th Amendment any official is barred who has sworn an oath to the Constitution cannot hold an office if engaged in insurrection. Of course, Trump says he did no wrong again. With all his other legal challenges,

The Constitution says "But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."
Meaning, Congress can prevent him from running again. Not the public and not each state individually asking the Supreme Court to prevent him from running.
However, the public can keep him out by not voting for him on election day.
