Just saw on the news that they videotaped about a dozen big rats running around inside a KFC after hours, eating all the leftovers. Makes you never want to look at a breast or a thigh again....

My mom currently runs a small "no kill" rescue and rehab farm for elderly laying hens. The hens are given actual yard and woods to forage in (still fed mash and grain, no steroids) with an acre fence and guard dogs who are chicken friendly. Retirement heaven.
