Newsweek and Time. I am so tired about hearing the crap that is available in the other mags.
I don't care who is sleeping with who. Who flaunts their success. Who thinks they are above the law.
There are wars going on. People are dying. There are hideous diseases. People are dying. Governments are being toppled, coalitions being formed. People are dying!! Children and women are being taken advantage of. And the best that "People" can come up with is "Fashion Police Report"

I have Al Jazeera web sight on my favorites. I also get the news from India and Germany on my computer. I like to get a broader view than just what the US press prints.
I don't think U.S. papers intentionally print anything false, I just like to get other prospectives on things.
Personally on regular t.v, the only talk show I watch is Montel Williams...and for FUN, Jerry Springer. But I just like to watch these people show their ignorance(Jerry Springer).
Now as far as radio or T.V....T.V. by a long shot. Mostly movies or CNN. Also like to watch National Geographic and the Animal Channel. I used to watch the Sci-Fi channel, till I figured out they only have 15 movies and show them again and again...ad naseum.
Being a karaoke junkie, most people would think I listen to music on the radio, truth is, I almost never turn on the radio.
Because I have Al-Jezeera...my ex-wife keep telling me, I am probably under surveilence by Homeland Security...Who cares!!

I don't know about the world but I would guess for the states it would be TV Guide or the National Enquirer..
Seriously, I would guess the most popular magazines would come from one of the larger media groups such as Time Warner. Newspapers would be even more difficult to guess but based on population and literacy, I would guess a newspaper from India or somewhere in China. Just a guess..
