Short and (can I add this qualifier?) *very* exciting life. "Boring" sounds pointless to me.

Well if a long boring life would mean that I get to spend many long years with my children and friends and family and those I love then I definatly pick the long and boring one.

I would want short and exciting. Enjoy and embrace life. I dont look forward to getting older as it looks like not a good place to be unless you have your health.

This really gets me thinking because as someone has alluded to: the terms of exciting and boring are relative. Deteriorating health is definitely a drawback of a long life. I was really going to elaborate on this, but I don't type all that fast. This is a good question and brings up the issue of spirituality. For me, I would like to see the world in my lifetime for as long as possible, so that is what I would choose because I think the observations would keep it fresh.

Ah life...can't live without it

Seriously though, A shorter but more eventful, meaningful life would be better to me than 100 years of....well of what I have now lol.

Actually, something in the middle.
I don't want to have lived a foolish short life or a long deteriorated existence either.
So many people think of the things that I've done as exciting, even if it seems boring to me.
It's all relative, in the long run.... as long as it counts for something!

Hey, when you get to my age even doing up your shoe-laces can be exciting!

There was a real gale of a wind blowing yesterday and I could hear my 88 year-old dad getting into the lift. The wind was blowing so hard it was keeping the lift door open (he wanted it shut so he could go down).........

He was yelling out 'bloody f'ing c**t!' - it really was quite exciting!
