I "kinda" believe it, but then some things he's quoted as saying are somewhat generic and could be applied several ways.

But then again it’s hard to say, Nostradamus had a lot of his predictions come true,Providing you spin his words to fit events of the past, present and of course the future.

And as always for all the people who say his predictions come true more will come out Against it...Myself I don’t believe in predictions, but Nostradamus is a fascinating read…

I did hear about the theory’s you mention, most of them seem to be made up of the least Popular People in this Era…just a new group to throw stones at…

Anyone can write that kind of drivel if:

You sit in the dark;
Burn 'insence' in a brazier;
Breathe the fumes A LOT...

You know, carbon monoxide is said to have the same effect, only difference is that you don't stick around to write 1000 quatrains.

I, personally, don't believe in the supernatural, including telling the future! If somebody is correct 100 percent of the time, I'll believe

didn't nosrudamus predict the world would end in 1999? tbh i think most of his predictions only seem to have come true when people look BACK and decipher something which has already happened - which they thought would mean something completely different before it happened

Its the same principle that is involved in the controversey surrounding the number 23. Look for a connection hard enough, and you're bound to percieve one. But perception is a devilish thing having nothing to do with reality...doh

Well, a very thorough analysys of Nostradamus' writings has brought up the fact that the alleged coincidences between what happened and what was described were.. umm.. well... coincidental, and followed neatly a likelyhood distribution curve. In other words, people's vivid imagination instilled life into otherwise bunk predictions (ore or less what happens with horoscopes). Now, if you ask me how did these eggheads actually model and quantify the correlation between Nostradamus' predictions and reality, I have no clue. I'm into nanotechnology (so yeah, I'm kinda an egghead, too), and in my world coincidences and likelyhood are just weird. Don't let me started about that.

In the home of the weakest power,
The village idiot will come forth
To be acclaimed the leader.

Nostradamus, 1555.

I think you'll find that there was immensely difficulty (a near-on impossibility, it was claimed) in interpreting the works of Nostrodamus. Needless to say, this resulted in numerous versions, I guess it depends which one you have read....?

i believe he said in 2012...
kind of goes with the calender written by the (miens <--- don't know the spelling)

a lot of books have been written on predictions.

I believe after seeing so many different ones on the tele.
Silvia brown
crossing over with(whatever his name was)John edwards???

But then again have seen many false predictors....

I believe future sight is a gift... i remember reading in the bible it was a gift given to some and will be given through out time... So yes i believe.

But it also says the end will be unknown it will happen in a blink of an eye...

Who knows... lets love the day we are in, remeber yeterday so we will have a brighter tomorrow.
