Shall we run through my list?
1) They have to be breathing.
2) They have to be funny or at least pretend to like my jokes.
3) No skidmarks, on anything!!
4) Self reliant......no wanting or expecting me to do everything!
5) Definately no nagging, or tantrums.......1st sign of that i get worried!!

I adapt to behavior of a person and let them decide what they can't tolerate in me. I think I got good sense of character so I don't often meet psycho killers and such.

Think i'm less tolerant with dates than friends. Mind you i don't tolerate cruelty. Or making people feel small its my pet hate.

I overlook past mistakes, I overlook age, as for the honesty, lying, cheating and stealing... as long as it is not being done to mine and family and friends....I'll overlook some of those too. Gambling Hey, if you can support your own habit then enjoy yourself.
I'm 50 plus years old and the above mentioned things all or one at one time or another where red flags to me must avoids. Now I just want to have someone who can tolerate my life long acquired idiosyncrasies ( seriously its easier to change women than those.LOL) I call it compromise.
things I will NOT overlook
Heavy drinking, (daily and hangovers more than once a week) Drug use (even the abusing of scripts), infidelity, if ya dislike children and pets, if you think education after 24 is for those without a life, if you think disagreements should never occur ....

In the past I think I overlooked to many things and just settled.. Not anymore.. this time around i'm not going to just settle..
What I want is a lady that I can give the key to my heart, and be able to trust that she won't tear it apart...
I want a lady that won't be afraid to come to me if and when there is a problem so we can discuss it not argue and come to an agreement on how to settle it...
I want a lady that likes to spend special moments together when the work day is done, and I don't mean just in the bedroom..
I want a lady that I can spoil, one that I can go out of my way by doing things that make her feel special and good about herself and would do the same for me...
Plain and simple I just want a lady that I would mean the world to and one that would mean the world to me..
I don't think I will ever find one like that though because that's only in fairy tales isn't it....
