Heard that one before. Also heard it's like that in other 'cold' countries as well and it's not only seen with the women.

Hmmm, the only 'warm' person i would say has shown their warmth 'to all' would be my former boss (will be my boss again in feb.).
She is the kindest, most understanding scandinavian i have ever met!!!!!
God bless her!

As for the rest, help

Don't know much about Swiss women, and am in no position to contradict you on that, but there is a contributor on this forum called the Swiss Miss, who is smoking hot, or so it would appear to be, because her name is Smoky. In physics I learnt that hot objects emit smoke because of their temperatures.
Or maybe she is called Smoky because she smokes, but I don't know the brand of cigarettes she smokes either.
Do you think people who smoke feel warmer, being so close to a fire??????

Let me take shelter Smoky, before you bring out the club to hit me!!

Ahhhgg...... and the same for the men! ... give them their trade, the 7am to 5pm Real Work to do and they seem very happy.... give them their Stammtisch Table and the Guys to drink beer and smoke with and they happy......What they do with their women is a mystery to me?

... and then I go to a club, and see the women tapping their feet to the music, and jiggling their bums, and dying to dance, but their men just stare into space and seem content to sip their beer, and shout over the music to their buddies on the other side of the room.....?

That old joke about "heaven and hell"... where in hell the Lovers are the Swiss... seems to be true?

Ah ha, my very dearest Antcus ... but you see, here is the difference .... I am NOT Swiss! I hail from that hot sub-tropical country of KwazuluNatal of South Africa! ... where we wear Sarongs and go bare foot, laze on hot beaches all day, and string beads together for european tourists....!

Hi Lusciousmile!... yes, we a very important export of Africa, heh? Gee, I dont know how these Europeans actually end up pro-creating, with their attitudes, and all!

No wonder, when they go on holiday to the hot countries they go so wild! We had a wild west pub in my town on the beach, with a couple donkeys and pigs who walked thru the place, to keep it tidy and clean... they drank any left-over beer, and licked out the sugar bowls, ate up any cigarettes left lying around.......while the band played full blast, the dance floor rocked ... and the swiss and germans scared the locals with their behaviour. Sometimes we had to knock them unconscious and get the car-guards to drag them out to their cars... just to get some peace! ..... but the next day they would be back, in full swing again.

Hahah.....they later assimilate and learn to eat casava from hawkers. They stop buying bottled water and spend their saturday evenings enjoying the traditional local brew ( mkomboti...haha) and dance . The most important thing they take home with them is the abilty to appreciate what litte they have and just live every day like their last.

Have you seen the way they just loosen up and shake to the drum beats relentlessly? An beautiful sight!

Oh no, don`t talk about Drum Beats!....... I was nostalgic for the old drumming circles, and was told CH has many many drummers, so asked about joining a drumming circle ... maybe up in the forests where the noise doesnt disturb people?..... and what did I get? Yeah, you got it...... an invite to lessons in Precision Drumming on Djembi!..... left, right, right, right left, stamp your foot, look to the left, clap your hands, beat right, right left... repeat 5 times........choreographed, synchronised, perfect. But not what Iwas looking for... Sorry. Oh well, guess one cant have Everything in Life huh? I was thinking of those moonlit Full Moon nights, around a fire outdoors, drummers arrive, drum, drift around, the circle emphasises whoever "has the mood", and moves on.... going on and on, rythms and tempo changing with the dominant personalities ..... nothing definite, nothing choreographed, everything changing all the time.....
