Violation of human rights? Immigration? Hmm ....
First Could you define Human Rights, please ?

Second: even in Stone age peope were protecting their territories and caves .... In nowadays it is even more crucial.

Some countries and nations have not many pure, original blood left ... e.g. Japan (there is no way to get Japanese citizenship to anyone even if you will get married. If your child was born in Japan he will never get citizenship as well.) conversing

Immigration, some countries need more occupation.

If Australia took all immigrants and sent them back home..............we would have a huge fiscal problem..............

We are short of professionals. In health and other areas.

And what about all the workers on visas, geez we'd be in big strife.

Big portion of our nation is made up of immigrants. And we are a liberal country. Its a good think to have immigrants, means we are more accepting and tolerant of others.

Immigration is a must for most western countries to survive.

But we just dont need to overdo it.

But you question is not very clear on the real issue.

Immigration is legal with the right documentation. So how can it be a violation of human rights....thats a crime................two different things.

immigration is great if the incoming people actually have something to offer the country they intend to live. the uk however, with it's free healthcare, government funded accomodation and social benefits is becoming a playground for immigrants and asylum seekers looking for handouts. speaking of asylum seekers.........international laws state that when seeking asylum you must apply to the first country you arrive at. if this is the case then how is it possible for the uk to have so many??? i can't say i've heard of anyone skipping over here from france seeking asylum. well, not in modern day at least.

N.B. England is now officially the 4th most over populated country in the world and according to statistics the most common male name in England is ...........mohammed!! food for thought indeed.........

I can imagine Mohammed being a popular name but can not see it as the top name.

May I ask where that information came from?

ah ok, i was slightly wrong (although time may have caught up with me).......it's the SECOND most common male name in the UK.

Muhammad is now second only to Jack as the most popular name for baby boys in Britain and is likely to rise to No 1 by next year, a study by The Times has found. The name, if all 14 different spellings are included, was shared by 5,991 newborn boys last year, beating Thomas into third place, followed by Joshua and Oliver.

still a bit worrying though.

Second most popular apparently behind Jack and ahead of Thomas:

Aren't most Muslim males named Mohammad? Wouldn't that skew the numbers somewhat? The rest of Britons are hardly likely to name most of their male offspring Jack or Thomas.

perhaps but in a western country which is predominantly christian it still sounds a bit odd that the name mohammed could overtake the most common boys names - and just for the record, don't presume that i'd give the bnp the time of day, let alone post anything from any related site.

I do not think it is a violation of human rights. The US excepts immigrants as a policy. I do however, feel those that come here illegally are breaking our laws and taking away our soverienty.

Here is an interesting page to look at ...http://www.cis.org/articles/2007/back1007.html

Stats Canada released their latest info on Immigrants there yesterday and on one channel during newsbites around the world, Australian spokes person was going on about how mush all their health services need the immigrants paying into it and other social services for them to function...that doesn't sound too healthy...
