that wasnt an opinion-it was a valid tho disappointing observation
and at its core-99% of religions are taught as paths of non judgement, attraction rather than promotion, not getting distracted by the world, opinions, and possessions
yet we do-we all fail at following any path faithfully and consistently
regardless of our belief or non belief of whatever
people are a fraction of what was hoped by 'god'
but there is a solution
im pretty sure the debate of 'his' ideas and will isnt it

The Book of Mormon is not added to the Bible and is the Bible not made up of different books to begin with?

I say no, author of the Mormon bible was one man. ( Joseph Smith ). Holy Bible was written by more than one person and spanning over a thousand years. Not knocking Mormons but I lived in Utah and I dealt with alot of Mormons and they are good and decent people but I feel they may be following a false prophet. I could be wrong though.

As I said before I grew up Mormon. Do not believe in it. Yes women are subserviant to man the way that they believe-women can not hold the priesthood-can not be a bishop in the church-can not give a healing prayer (or what ever it is called you have to be an elder in the church to do that). Men run the church PERIOD And women have no say what so ever in the way that the church is run.
If you take a look at all the major churches in the world they all are run by MEN. WHY? Who the hell knows. Not me thats for sure. There are a lot of women out there that could and would do a better job of it than some of the men.
Just where did the bible come from did it just one day pop up some where and some one tell us that this is what we are to believe in as the word of god? Some one had to write the very first bible. To my knowledge I have never been told who that might have been.

I was reading about Mormonism a bit recently and came surprisingly to the conclusion it's complete hogwash. Much the same as any other religion and their 'holy' books though - I'm an equal opportunist slagger 
. Any so called archeology or history in it is completely made up and if I recall correctly Smith himself was a convicted fraudster ? As for some of the beliefs, Cain still wandering the earth, heaven is in missouri or wherever, Satan rules to oceans so mormon missionaries aren't allowed swim, etc, well..

The Mormons say that the plates "Mysteriously" disappeared into heaven, I believe. Which is convenient for thise looking for "proof". I find all religons have unexplainables. That to me makes them ridiculous.

All the Mormons I know are very nice people who live a very nice lifestyle. (I'm really fond of the whole men in charge thing personally.)
