hmmmm ok next time i don't complain when i go to the station...........it's only 2.93 here
of course if i go back home to Joplin.......its about 20 cents cheaper

Do your wages convert over to more also?
Because here, minimum wage is $7. So 1 gallon of gasoline would cost more than what a lot of people earn in an hour's work.
I was just curious if the hourly wage there converts over to more as well.

min wage here is 5.35 pounds an hour
however our cost of living here is very high compared to the states
sales tax which we call vat is 17.5 percent
lol i rem the day I moved from ohio to md I filled up at meijers for 77cents a gallon and that was 1999
