I didn't want a house,
or blessed shiny things.
I never wanted much,
just a kiss to say hello,
and to wake up every morning,
and see you nose to nose.

or shoes,

and tried my best at everything.
I didn't want forever,
but maybe that's not true.
I only wanted love,
and for it to be with you.
Now we have a son,
a business you might say.
We don't work well together,
but for this I always pray.
Each morning I wake up to the sound of little feet.
Each night I fall asleep thinking he's quite neat.
I only wanted love,
somehow you gave me more.
Several lessons in life,
and a son that I adore.
