sweetliberty: I'm not much on romantic movies, but there are a few exceptions:

Don Juan de Marco

Benny and Joon

Its a great movie and thank god Ronald Reagan never got the lead.

Has anyone besides me seen It's a matter of life and death?. It's with David Niven and is wonderful. It's a fantasy love story and I have it on dvd. It has aged very well in 62 years.

There's another reallllllly old movie, I think it's called the enchanted cottage, don't remember who was in it but a really beautiful story about a couple who are physically quite unattractive, but when they are in the cottage, they are beautiful... I wish I could remember more about it, if anyone remembers it, refresh my memory, all I remember was really loving it, but it must be 30 years since I've seen it... an old black and white film, probably from the 40's or 50's.
